Huge globe shaped beads of Baltic amber with a pale semi-translucent egg yolk coloring, are featured on this vintage Yemeni Bedouin beaded necklace, circa mid-century.

The statement Y style necklace consists of hand wrought metal chain links, with asymmetrical chunky lightweight beads of amber, which have interior bubbles and a bit of hazy white striations – along with smaller cantaloupe colored plastic accent beads.

They also have decorative metal bead caps, with the necklace measuring approximately 26 inches around, and has no closure. 

The drop portion hangs approximately 2&1/4 inches in length, and the necklace in its entirety weighs 88.5 grams.
